🌿 Groundskeeper position available at Vallaura Dressage (Part-Time)

Vallaura Dressage is a boutique dressage facility in Gruyere, dedicated to exceptional horse care and immaculate presentation. We are seeking a reliable and passionate Property Groundskeeper to support the upkeep of our beautiful equestrian centre.

This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and values maintaining a property to a premium standard.

Duties Include:
- Landscaping & Gardening
- Mowing, slashing and general grounds maintenance
- W**d control and spraying as required
- General tidying, rubbish removal and presentation of the property

We are looking for a few enthusiastic stablehand/grooms to join our team at Vallaura Dressage.
Experience with large performance horses is required.

Our world revolves around our horses, so a genuine love for horses, reliability and attention to detail is required. Paid training provided.

Shifts available are

Tues AM & PM
Wed AM & PM
Thurs PM
Sun AM & PM

The option to bring a horse for training or agistment is also available.

Today was a very special day, as we welcomed some of our horses to the new Vallaura Dressage property. It’s incredible to think how much has been achieved in such a short period of time - all thanks to the amazing team I have around me, who believe in my vision just as much as I do!
Still lots of work to go, but it’s nice to take a breath and appreciate our amazing family of horses relaxing into their new home. 🙏🏽

SOLD to the first person who came and rode her. 💖

I have a terrible habit of falling in love with our Sales horses, so I take the task of finding them their new humans very seriously. This little mare had us smiling everyday, and I knew exactly what type of rider would bring the best out in her.

I wish this exciting new combination the best of luck in their journey together, and would like to thank the Vendor for trusting me with their beautiful horse.

Selling horses is never easy, but it makes it so much easier when you find their perfect match! 💫

9yo Warmblood mare, Approx 16hh

Stunning mare with huge presence and potential, especially in the Show Ring. Very trainable and sweet, she would suit an experienced, balanced rider who likes a sensitive, smart mare.

Her trot work is incredible - consolidated at novice, training elementary.
The canter work needs consolidation, however with additional balance and work it will develop into a standout gait. She is super trainable and wants to please.
Lacks a bit of confidence on the ground, but finds comfort in other horses and a kind handler.

She has attended a few clinics. Eligible for Newcomers.
