Serena is the perfect schoolmaster to show her next rider the ropes of Dressage. She would suit a confident AOR/YR/EA/PC/Interschools rider who wants a fancy but safe partner in Dressage.
Her changes are push button and she is easy work through all the Med/Advanced movements.
Her current Young Rider has had a lot of enjoyment with her!

Serena has a fear of the farrier, so we currently sedate her to be shod, and we are making lots of progress with a very kind and patient approach. She has made big improvements in this area.
She is coming back into work after a year off, but is getting stronger everyday.

X-rays available with some remarks and management needed, which we feel is a small price to pay for such a safe, reliable girl.

Today was a very special day, as we welcomed some of our horses to the new Vallaura Dressage property. It’s incredible to think how much has been achieved in such a short period of time - all thanks to the amazing team I have around me, who believe in my vision just as much as I do!
Still lots of work to go, but it’s nice to take a breath and appreciate our amazing family of horses relaxing into their new home. 🙏🏽

SOLD to the first person who came and rode her. 💖

I have a terrible habit of falling in love with our Sales horses, so I take the task of finding them their new humans very seriously. This little mare had us smiling everyday, and I knew exactly what type of rider would bring the best out in her.

I wish this exciting new combination the best of luck in their journey together, and would like to thank the Vendor for trusting me with their beautiful horse.

Selling horses is never easy, but it makes it so much easier when you find their perfect match! 💫

Stunning mare with huge presence and potential, especially in the Show Ring. Very trainable and sweet, she would suit an experienced, balanced rider who likes a sensitive, smart mare.

Her trot work is incredible - consolidated at novice, training elementary.
The canter work needs consolidation, however with additional balance and work it will develop into a standout gait. She is super trainable and wants to please.
Lacks a bit of confidence on the ground, but finds comfort in other horses and a kind handler.

She has attended a few clinics. Eligible for Newcomers.

Barbie is the ultimate unicorn. She is a mother’s dream pony with an exceptional temperament that’s rare to come by.
She’s easy to catch, trim, clip, float, wash etc, allowing her child to do all of these tasks independently. She knows her job!

She’s a proven show pony, registered and successfully competed in Welsh classes. She’s done it all at Pony Club from games and dressage to cross country, excelling as a first-ridden, lead line pony and now happily cantering on her own with perfect brakes. She has given lots of children their first trot and canter and always looks after them.

Barbie has also modelled for HorseDeals, Horseland, Lumi Pony and multiple equestrian brands which is proof of her lovely presence and character. She is equally as happy covered in mud in the paddock and we often use her as a babysitter for our silly Warmbloods who find life hard to cope with at times!
Barbie has been the perfect teacher, introducing my daughter to riding with kindness and safety, including her very first canter experience. She’s equally happy being solo or paddocked with friends.

We’re thrilled to announce that we have officially purchased Glenbrae Equestrian Centre! 🖤

As part of this exciting new chapter, the property will be reintroduced as Vallaura.

This marks a significant milestone for our business as we expand our facilities, services and long-term vision.

Over the coming months, we will be operating from both Spring Farm and Vallaura, allowing us to continue delivering our same 5-star care and training while the Vallaura property is thoughtfully developed in stages.

It has been heartwarming to read so many stories and memories from the equestrian community about the property during its time as Glenbrae. We feel incredibly privileged to carry that history forward and look forward to bringing a strong sense of community back to the property as it enters this next phase.

We are also incredibly grateful to Dan and Andy from Springside Warmbloods for the opportunity to base at their world-class property during this transition. Their generosity and support have played a key role in making this next chapter possible.

We have big plans to renovate and improve the facilities. The property will be presented as a true asset to the equestrian community in the Yarra Valley.

Agistment opportunities, clinics and some very exciting events will be available at Vallaura soon, with further announcements to follow.

We can’t wait to share the journey with you as Vallaura evolves. This is just the beginning! ✨

Great advice from The Equine Practice

With extreme heat forecast over the coming days, please take a moment to check your paddocks and ensure your horse has adequate shade and access to clean water.

𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗗𝗘
Access to shade is one of the simplest and most important ways to protect your horse from the sun. Shade helps regulate body temperature and reduces the risk of heat stress, particularly during extreme temperatures. Whether it’s trees, shelters, or stables with good airflow, 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 on hot days.

𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥
As temperatures rise, horses will drink significantly more as they work harder to cool themselves.

✔️ Ensure water sources are plentiful, clean, and easily accessible.
✔️ Check water supplies regularly throughout the day.
✔️ Make sure multiple horses aren’t competing for a single water source.

👉🏼 Dehydration can develop quickly in hot conditions, especially if water runs out or becomes unpalatable.

A little preparation goes a long way in keeping horses safe and comfortable during hot weather.
