This is how Mallory sits. Mallory stopped sitting like this for a month but was very well otherwise and still very playful. She had a Biomechanical and acupuncture treatment Friday, we treated restrictions in her lumbar spine, and very pleased Mallory is back to sitting how Mallory sits :)

A belated happy new year! It has been a while for an update- the year started busy, and sadly it was also time to say good bye to a number of my gorgeous long term patients in the past couple of months. I have made monthly trips to see them all for years now and knew their families well too. This still comes with its mourning process- I still haven’t gotten used to this after so many years. In happier news I also got to meet one of the succession plans (pictured) and he’s an absolute delight. I have a few spots available for appointments in the next few weeks then it gets busy again- acupuncture conference at the end of the month then I’m back to teaching anatomy to 2nd year vet students in March too. Hope everyone has been keeping cool this week. Please put some water out for the birds, insects, possums and lizards in the warm weather!! X

After 22 years I’ve decided it’s time to clear out my 4th and 5th year uni notes. My 20 year old me would be very surprised to learn that out of all of these notes the only thing I’m keeping are my hand drawn biochemistry charts (which I wished I could have found doing the natural animal nutrition course). Im glad things an electronic these days- I’m sure a number of trees were harmed during the making of my degree!
