Cats are territorial by nature. Even when there is no obvious fighting, subtle tension can show up as over-grooming, litter tray issues, hiding, weight changes or increased irritability. In some cases, chronic stress contributes to urinary disease or digestive problems.

A health check is more than just a quick listen to the heart. During a full examination, we assess your cat from nose to tail. That includes weight and body condition, teeth and gums, eyes and ears, coat and skin, heart and lung function, joints and mobility and abdominal palpation to feel internal organs.

We also talk through behaviour, appetite, water intake, litter tray habits and any changes you may have noticed at home. Subtle shifts are often the earliest signs that something is developing.
