Looking for a nursing role where no two days feel the same, the team actually has your back, and you’re not just “a roster slot”?

At Alphington & Fairfield Vet, we’re looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team — with the bonus of working across our Hawthorn Group clinics when you want a bit of variety.

✨ What your days could look like:
• Hands-on surgical & anaesthesia nursing
• Caring for hospital patients (the ones who steal your heart a little)
• Running nurse consults & building real client relationships
• A mix of reception and front-of-house work
• A planned rotating roster so you actually know what your week looks like
• 1 in 4 weekends (8:30am–1pm)
• A PM who genuinely cares about work-life balance

💚 What we’re looking for:
• Cert IV qualified Vet Nurse (or equivalent)
• Ideally a couple of years of in-clinic experience
• Someone confident, caring, and happy to jump in and help
• A team player who values culture as much as clinical care
• A great communicator who enjoys working with both people and pets
• Bonus points if you love a warm coffee in the morning ☕️

We may be a small team, but we’re 1 of 3 clinics — making us one big family.
