โ„๏ธ Winter is the perfect time to catch health issues early, before they become more serious.

As the weather cools down, pets can be more susceptible to conditions such as arthritis flare-ups, skin issues, weight gain, and other underlying health concerns that may not be obvious at home.

A quick check-up with your local vet can provide peace of mind for you and help keep your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable throughout the colder months. ๐Ÿพ

We were so pleased to see Stormboy today, looking bright, happy, and pain-free. After a week of rest and pain relief, heโ€™s well and truly back to his playful, cheeky self.
He first came to see us last week with an acute onset of pain in his hind leg. He was very uncomfortable and difficult to examine, so it was decided to sedate him and perform X-rays to rule out any serious injuries. Thankfully, no abnormalities were found on the radiographs, and he has made a great recovery.

This little love came in to see us today for her dental procedure with Dr King! Thankfully, there were no extractions needed for Lucy, just a routine scale and polish! ๐Ÿฆทโ™ฅ๏ธ

Oral hygiene is essential for our pets. Not only does it affect their overall health and quality of life but it also

- prevents gum disease and tooth loss
- eliminates bad breath
- reduces the risk of bacteria entering vital organs such as the heart, liver and kidneys

A big bravery award goes to Shadow, who was an absolute star during his recent sedation for an ear pluck and clean. He was very well-behaved and calm for the process.
Shadow had quite a lot of hair deep in both of his ear canals, and after being diagnosed with otitis, the veterinarian recommended removing this hair. This will make it much easier and more effective for his medication to reach where needed and prevent future infections.
Well done Shadow - such a brave boy ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฉต
