🐾FUN FACT FRIDAY 🐾

Did you know male puppies are usually born with their testicles still tucked up inside their abdomen? As they grow, the testicles normally “descend” into the sc***um, usually by 8–16 weeks of age, and they should definitely be down by 6 months old.

It’s important for vets to check that your puppies testicles have descended during their puppies health checks! 🐾

Meet Giggles 🐾💙

Giggles recently underwent a cystotomy surgery to remove these bladder stones — and as you can see, there were LOTS of them! Urinary stones are hard mineral build-ups that form in the bladder and can cause pain, irritation, infections, and even life-threatening blockages if left untreated.

Thankfully, Giggles was an absolute superstar through surgery and is now on the road to recovery 🫶🏼

If your pet is showing signs of urinary issues, early intervention can make all the difference 🐶
