🐶 We wish every patient arrived this excited to see us! 😄

This happy face is proof that some dogs absolutely LOVE coming to the vet... but we know not everyone feels the same way, and that's completely okay.

Whether your pet is excited, nervous or somewhere in between, we can all help make their visit as safe and stress-free as possible.

🐾 A few friendly reminders:
• Dogs should always arrive on a secure lead.
• Cats should be safely tucked away in a carrier.
• If your pet is anxious or reactive, let our team know when you arrive so we can help make things a little easier.

Even the calmest pet can become overwhelmed in a busy clinic, so these small steps help keep everyone safe – your pet, other clients and our team.

🌟 Foaling season is here! 🐴💕

One of the most exciting times of the year has arrived, and we can't wait to see this season's beautiful foals hitting the ground!

While it's an exciting time, a little preparation can make all the difference. Knowing who to call and when can help ensure both mare and foal get the best care if you need us.

Before your mare foals, make sure you:
📞 Save our phone number in your mobile. 07 4992 1814
⏰ Know our opening hours:
• 6:00 am – Out of Hours service begins
• 8:00 am – Clinic opens
• 5:00 pm – Clinic closes
• 8:00 pm – Out of Hours phone service finishes
Keep a notebook or your phone handy to record foaling times and any observations.

Remember the 1-2-3 Rule:
🐴 Foal standing within 1 hour
🥛 Foal nursing within 2 hours
🩺 Placenta passed within 3 hours

If your mare is having trouble foaling, the foal isn't progressing normally, or something just doesn't seem right, don't wait—give us a call. Early intervention can make all the difference for both mare and foal.

Did you know? Dogs don't sweat like we do. Instead, they cool themselves down by panting, with their tongue helping to release heat. Pretty clever!

Could your dog be someone's superhero?

When a dog needs an emergency blood transfusion, there's no substitute. The only way we can help is thanks to generous donor dogs and their amazing owners.

We're looking to expand our blood donor team and would love to hear from owners who think their dog might be suitable.

Our donor dogs should be:
🐾 Healthy adults
🐾 Over 30 kg
🐾 Under 8 years old
🐾 Fully vaccinated

We also prefer dogs that are calm, live locally (within a 15 min drive from the clinic), and are male or neutered females.

Every potential donor will first come into the clinic for a simple blood typing and heartworm test appointment. If they're a match, they'll join our donor list and earn a place on our very own Superhero Donor Wall alongside our other life-saving legends.

As a thank you for helping other dogs in need, all of our donor dogs receive their annual vaccinations free at our clinic.

📍 Our Monthly Run Schedule ! 🚗🐄🐎

Did you know we visit different areas every Wednesday throughout the month?

To help our clients make the most of our reduced travel costs, we've written down our monthly run schedule so you can easily see which Wednesday we'll be in your area.

If your animals are due for a check-up, vaccinations, pregnancy testing, herd health work, or you have something you'd like us to see, give us a call and we'll do our best to fit you into the run.

📞 Bookings are essential, so please contact us before Tuesday to be added to Wednesday's run.

We're proud to bring veterinary care to our local communities, and we look forward to seeing you on the road!

Meet one of our real-life heroes... Max! ❤️🩸

Every now and then, a patient needs something that can't be bought or made... they need donated blood.

That's where Max steps in.

Max is one of our incredible canine blood donors, quietly helping other dogs when they need it most. Every donation has the potential to give another family more time with their best mate, and we're so grateful for dogs like Max (and his wonderful owners) who make that possible.

Dogs can safely donate blood up to six times a year, and each donation could make a life-changing difference to another dog in need.

We are opening up our chilled and frozen AI books for the 26/27 mare AI season to our clients. We already have a waiting list, so remaining spots are limited (hence why we are inviting our existing clients only first).
