Being held on 11th - 12th October at Gatton Showgrounds, these two events are not to be missed!

INGRID KLIMKE MASTERCLASS – IMPORTANT UPDATE

We at Equinesque are thrilled to be bringing the legendary Ingrid Klimke to Australia for her Dressage & Eventing Masterclass on 1 November 2025 at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from one of the world’s most respected equestrians.

However, we do need to share an important update. Ticket sales to date have been lower than expected. We completely understand that times are challenging, and many people may be waiting to purchase closer to the event. But staging an event of this calibre is a significant undertaking, and we must ensure costs are covered for the Masterclass to proceed.

A decision on whether the event will go ahead will be made in the coming weeks. If you are planning to attend but haven’t secured your tickets yet, we kindly ask that you do so by the end of August to help make this incredible event a reality.

A PASSIVE seat follows the movement of your horse perfectly, allowing him to continue making progress in the same manner, without variation of his gait or stride length.

An ACTIVE seat influences your horse’s movement, encouraging variation of his gait, changing his stride length and height, and/or balance.

You can use:
👉 Use your seat horizontally (forward and back). This helps to control the stride length.
👉 Use your seat vertically (up and down). This helps to control the stride height.
👉 Make your seat lighter or heavier by adding weight to one or both seat bones. This helps to aid bend, the direction of travel, and collection.

NOTE: At all times, your seat aids should be invisible to the onlooker. This is a refined aid, and excessive shoving, pushing, leaning, or bearing down with the seat serves no purpose and can, instead, cause your horse to lose balance and hollow away from the pressure.
