As many of you may already know, we've seen an increase in heartworm cases in Biloela and the surrounding areas over the past two years.

If you're unsure whether your dog is up to date with their heartworm prevention, please don't hesitate to give us a call on (07) 4995 8739.

Heartworm prevention is available as:
🐾 A monthly tablet or spot-on treatment, or
🐾 An annual injection once your dog is fully grown.

Heartworm is spread by mosquitoes, so even if your dog never leaves your yard, they are still at risk.

Prevention is much safer, easier, and more affordable than treating heartworm disease. If your dog has missed a dose or has never been on heartworm prevention, we recommend booking a heartworm test. The test is quick and simple, with results available in around 10 minutes.

✨Rebranding

After a lot of thought, growth, and recent expansion, we’re so excited to share that Dr Sandy’s Mobile Vet Services is officially rebranding to Biloela Vet Services! 🐾

With the exciting addition of Dr Samantha Creed to our team, we are now a multi-vet practice, allowing us to better support our clients and patients.

We’ve also moved from being solely a mobile service to having a premises as well as still offering the mobile service.

While we absolutely love our old name and the memories that come with it, we felt it was the right time for a fresh new look—one that better reflects who we are today and the services we continue to grow into.

Although our name and branding are changing, our values remain exactly the same ❤️
We’re still dedicated to providing compassionate high-quality care for your beloved animals—because we know they’re truly part of the family.
