Maxi the British Shorthair came in feeling very unwell after showing signs of not eating, vomiting, lethargy, and dehydration. After further investigation, Maxi was diagnosed with an intussusception. This is a serious condition where part of the intestine “slides” into another section of the bowel, causing a blockage.

Intussusception can quickly become life-threatening without urgent treatment, which is why early veterinary attention is so important when your cat is showing signs of illness.

After a week of recovery, Maxi is doing well and continuing to improve each day 💙🐾
