Blood pressure check for Benji

Almost 14 year old Cavoodle Benji came in for his senior health check, where we collected blood to assess his internal function, gave him an arthritis injection and checked his blood pressure. 🩺

Just like in humans, we measure blood pressure using a cuff on the leg connected to our blood pressure machine. Keeping our patients calm and comfortable is key, so cosy blankets and cuddles from Nurse Abi is a must! 🥹💙

If we have recommended a blood pressure check for your pet our lovely nursing staff are happy to help!

Brian was in with us for a dental clean and to have a little lump removed. Even though Brian is blind, he knows his way around the clinic and recognises all his favourite vets and nurses. He always knows exactly where he is when he comes to visit us! 🥰

Such a sweet old boy, and always a pleasure to have him in with us. 💙

Simba is one of our lovely patients here at The Corner Vet, and today he’s come in to see Dr Cindy. ❤️

But when Simba isn’t visiting us for a check-up, he has a very special job of his own… he’s a therapy dog! 🐶💙 On his normal days, Simba visits hospitals, bringing comfort, smiles and a little bit of furry love to those who need it most.

We’re always so happy to see you, Simba! Thank you for sharing your beautiful nature with everyone around you. 🥰🐾
