Congratulations to this wonderful group of Mental Health First Aiders🙌
Brunker Road Veterinary Centre had the first group of staff undertake the Mental Health First Aid accredited training course this past Sunday, learning all about how they can help colleagues, clients and loved ones with mental health challenges. The course and workshop was presented by qualified Mental Health First Aid Trainer and Veterinarian, Dr Elizabeth Napier.
It was an afternoon full of valuable content, which had staff engage in some interesting discussions around supporting mental health in the workplace
Brunker Road Veterinary Centre now have a team of wonderful first aiders and will have another group of staff participating in the workshop next month. Go Team!

Today is World Mental Health First Aid Day — a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health.
At Brunker Road Veterinary Centre, we know mental health matters for everyone. Over the coming months, more then half of our staff have chosen to undertake the Mental Health First Aid Training course. This accredited course aims to increase knowledge and confidence in helping loved ones, clients and colleagues with mental health challenges. Go Team!
