Patient of the month

Princess Kate is our beautiful patient of the month. She is an eleven-year-old yorkie with renal failure. She comes in daily for fluids to help manage her kidney disease. She is doing very well and it is always such a pleasure to see her and her parents.

Patient of the month

Aether is our patient of the month. This sweet but very unlucky boy had not one, but 2 foreign body surgeries in less than a month. Luckily he made a speedy recovery and is back to his normal, happy self.

🚨🐱 Foreign Body Alert in Cats! 🐱🚨
Cats are curious by nature—and sometimes that curiosity can lead to serious trouble! 😿
From hair ties and string to trichobezoars (hairballs) and sewing needles, foreign objects can get stuck in the digestive tract and cause dangerous blockages.

🩺 Common Foreign Bodies in Cats:
🔹 String or thread
🔹 Rubber bands, toys, or hair ties
🔹 Sewing needles
🔹 Trichobezoars – large hairballs that get stuck instead of passing normally

🛑 These can lead to life-threatening complications if not treated quickly!

⚠️ Warning signs to watch for:
🔸 Repeated vomiting or gagging
🔸 Loss of appetite
🔸 Lethargy
🔸 Painful or swollen belly
🔸 Constipation or straining

💡 Tip: Regular brushing helps reduce hairball formation—especially in long-haired breeds!

MISSING: Snoopy went missing in the Allen's Nek area on Sunday Evening but was seen on Monday Morning. He is a German Shepherd cross Lab with a red flea collar on and has some hair loss near his tail. Please contact Nicolas 063-226-6369
