Please note that Accuvet Veterinary Hospital will be closed on Monday, 16 June.
We will continue to attend to patients currently in the hospital, but our shop will be closed, and there will be no veterinarian on call.

🚨 For emergencies, please contact Valley Farm 24-Hour Animal Hospital.

We’ll resume our regular hours from Tuesday, 17 June, and look forward to assisting you then.

Accuvet, in partnership with Lighthouse Elandspoort (represented by Louie-Anne Swanepoel), is reaching out to our amazing community. The Elandspoort community — and their beloved pets — are in urgent need of support.

Cruelty Has No Place in Our Communities

This poor cat was deliberately shot with an air rifle. The pellet narrowly missed his intestines but lacerated the bladder. Dr Louw had to perform surgery to assess and repair internal damage and remove the pellet.

We are heartbroken by the unnecessary pain this innocent animal endured. Acts of cruelty like this are not only deeply disturbing—they are criminal.

Please help us spread awareness. If you witness or suspect animal cruelty, report it immediately. Our pets depend on us to be their voice. 🐾💔
