RESCUE - REHABILITATE - REHOME The Animal Welfare Society Helderberg is a registered Non Profit Organisation. There are 28 paid staff members and a small team of volunteers wh

o help with the day to day running of
the kennels. There is also a charity shop located off-site. The kennel hosts a facility for strays and surrenders. The facility
also includes a veterinary division and is situated in Gordon’s Bay. The AWS Helderberg has a mobile clinic which hosts primary care and operates in Macassar, Eerste river, Tarentaal Plaas, Nomzamo and Sir
Lowry’s Pass, plus various locations in between and at reasonable request. A small inspectorate investigates complaints and assists in collecting sick animals for treatment and then returning them home. Sterilization is high on the agenda of the AWS Helderberg. AWS Helderberg is a proud member of the Cape Animal Welfare Forum.

Zoe is a very beautiful young girl that has been surrendered to our kennels. She gets on very well with other dogs and loves people of all ages! She doesn't know cats. She is very sweet natured, so friendly and loves to spend time with us! She is such a gem with the biggest heart, happiest soul and the most beautiful smile. When we enter her camp she always gives us the biggest smile and tail wag, so happy to see us! She must sleep inside at night and she will do best in a home where she has canine company during the day. She needs a good size garden and daily exercise! She is a lovely girl with a beautiful soul who loves to be close to her human. The adoption fee of R1350 includes her sterilization, microchip, vaccinations and de-worming. Chelsi is a very beautiful young girl that was found on the streets and never claimed. She gets on very well with other dogs and loves people of all ages! She is awfully sweet natured, very friendly and adores humans! She is very playful and affectionate, and has a very positive, upbeat personality! She is a precious soul who will make a very special companion and family pet! When we enter her camp she always gives us the biggest smile and tail wag! Koda is a very cute and handsome male pup that has been surrendered to our kennels. He is around 3 months old and will be a medium size when fully grown. He gets on very well with other dogs, is very trainable with cats, and loves people of all ages including children. He is super playful and thoroughly enjoys his toys and treats. He is a very sweet natured, fun, friendly and affectionate puppy with a beautiful temperament and a kind heart. He needs lots of attention, puppy training, a good sized garden and daily exercise. He must go to a home where someone is at home during the day and has the time to care for him and give him lots of guidance! He must be a special part of the family and sleep inside the house at night. He will make an incredibly special companion and beautiful family pet.
