I went to visit my gorgeous boy in kennels today 💔

It’s been 4 months since he was uplifted from an entire lifetime in a chain - and NOT ONE PERSON wants to love him and give him a home. My heart breaks for him.

He’s discovered love and life and balls and treats and gardens and just loves life right now.

Please offer him a long term foster where I supply all the food or adopt our sweet boy - only pet please - he deserves to have you all to himself 🥰💝🐕

WhatsApp me on 082 8237435 if you’d like to change our sweet boys life FOREVER - if any kid deserves it, Sammy does 🩷

A massive, massive thank you to Steph, my beautiful next-door neighbour here on the farming estate, for this incredibly generous donation of blankets.

The cats could not be more excited, and thanks to your kindness they are going to be warm, comfortable, and cosy throughout the winter months. I’ve already put a few of the blankets out, and the kitties have wasted no time making themselves at home on them!

These blankets are going to make such a huge difference to the lives of our sanctuary animals, and we are so incredibly grateful.

The sanctuary survives entirely because of the kindness, support, and generosity of people like Steph. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us provide comfort, care, and a better life for the animals who need us most.

We desperately need ongoing donations and support to keep the sanctuary running so that we can continue helping these beautiful animals. If you would like to assist in any way, please WhatsApp 082 823 7435. No calls, please.

Thank you, Steph. Your kindness means more than you know. ❤️

A huge thank you to our wonderful friend, , for her incredibly generous donation of Pampers Jelly for the kitties at The Thomas Jackson Foundation. 🐾❤️

Liezel has always been a true supporter of rescue, living by the motto “Adopt, Don’t Shop” and setting such a wonderful example with her beautiful rescue Dachshunds.

Yesterday, I arrived at the practice to find this surprise donation waiting for me, and it honestly put the biggest smile on my face. These thoughtful acts of kindness make such a difference and remind us that there are truly amazing people standing behind rescue animals every step of the way.

From all the grateful little kitties, thank you for the purrs, head bumps, furry smooches, and full tummies. We appreciate you more than words can say.

Thank you, Liezel, for your kindness, your friendship, and your unwavering support of rescue. We are so lucky to have you in our corner. ❤️🐱🐾

With donations almost non-existent at the moment, we are really struggling to keep up with feeding all of the animals in our care.

To help make ends meet, I’ve started making homemade breakfasts for the cats (and some of the dogs too) to supplement their pellets. This week I bought chicken breast, chicken livers and pumpkin, cooked everything and blended it together — and I was actually pleasantly surprised by how much they loved it!

Normally breakfast would be Pampers Jelly, Husky, Pampers Saucy Mince and plain cooked chicken, but with costs becoming increasingly difficult to manage, I’m trying to create nutritious homemade meals for the kitties instead. Thankfully, the taste test was a huge success. 💝

Every donation, no matter how small, helps us put food into bowls and keep 161 animals fed, safe and cared for.

is safely back at the sanctuary, but what he really needs is a home of his own.

Seal has spent over two years waiting. Two years of watching people come and go. Two years of wondering where he belongs.

He is a soft, gentle boy with so much love to give. All Seal wants is a person to call his own.

Before coming into our care, Seal lived with people on the streets who loved him dearly. Contrary to what many believe, some people living on the streets care deeply for their animals and would do anything for them. Seal was one of those dogs. He was loved.

After being repeatedly attacked by other dogs, law enforcement became involved and there were concerns for his safety. His owners asked us to help him, and that is how Seal came into rescue.

Today, Seal has a large garden and a safe space of his own at the sanctuary, but he is confused. He sees us spending time with the other dogs and doesn’t understand why we’re not with him. What Seal misses most isn’t space. It’s belonging.

He needs a home where he can finally exhale, where he knows who his human is, and where he never has to wonder if he’s wanted.

Seal is looking for:

🐾 A home with no other animals
🐾 Secure walls of at least 1.8m
🐾 Someone home during the day, even if it’s a housekeeper
🐾 A family willing to give a loyal, loving dog the chance he deserves

Seal is currently based in Gordon’s Bay.

If you think you could be Seal’s person, please WhatsApp me on 082 823 7435 (no calls please).

To apply, send a short video of your property and let me know who is home during the day.

Please share. Somewhere out there is the person Seal has been waiting for all this time.
