PLEASE make sure your pets (dogs AND cats) are up to date on their rabies vaccines! Even pets that are indoors 100% of the time are at risk.

April is Heartworm disease awareness month
Is your feline protected against heartworms?

-heartworm disease can be spread from one bite from a mosquito
-there is no approved treatment for 😿
-this disease is spread to indoor and outdoor cats

😺 What you can do:
-get your cat tested
-get them on year-round prevention

Love is in the air, but so are a few hidden dangers for pets. Check labels for xylitol, a sugar substitute that can be found in candies, gums, and baked goods. 🚫🍬🍰

If you have cats, avoid bouquets with lilies – every part of this flower is toxic including the vase water. 🚫💐
