We are delighted to introduce Dr. Hudson Johns, who will be joining the veterinary team at Pet Vet Clinic as a full-time doctor. Dr. Johns earned his degree in veterinary medicine from Madras Veterinary College in India. He possesses experience in practicing both large and small animal medicine. Dr. Johns also has a strong background in veterinary animal research. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, and watching movies. We are thrilled to welcome him to our team! 🎉🥳

It is with sadness (for us) and excitement (for him) that we want to let our clients know that Dr Jake Jelsema will be leaving our practice at the end of July. For those of you who's pets have seen Dr Jake, you have gotten to experience first-hand the dedication, caring and compassion he has for our clients and their pets. While we will greatly miss him being a part of our team, we are excited for what the future holds for him. Below are a few words he wanted to share.

After two meaningful years, I’ll be concluding my time as an associate veterinarian with the incredible teams at Pet Vet Clinic and Jelsema Veterinary Clinic at the end of this month. As I say a heartfelt goodbye, I’m deeply grateful for the relationships I’ve built with compassionate coworkers, dedicated pet owners, and the pets we’ve cared for together, through the smiles and tears. It’s been a privilege to work each day toward a shared goal: supporting the well-being of pets and the families who love them.

I leave this chapter with nothing but gratitude: for the people, the lessons, and the experiences that have shaped me, and with hope for what lies ahead. I’m stepping into a new and promising opportunity, one that will continue to shape me both as a veterinarian and as a person.

Thank you for letting me be a part of you and your pets’ journeys.

Puppy classes will be held at Jelsema Vet Clinic on Thursdays from 6-7pm July 10 - August 14. Class size will be limited to 5 puppies per 6 week session. An additional 2 spots will be placed on a cancellation list. Puppies should be between the ages of 8 weeks and 5 months and must be up to date on....
