Carmel & Finn has left the Sanctuary with there new family ,The Baileys to West Va !!
So happy for them to have that chance for a home filled with love ..
And thru the process of it all , it’s been worth every min , since the day they came into our lives ,I knew God had a plan when that voice in my ear said don’t leave them …..
And there lives were forever changed .
To the Bailey’s ,Thank you very much !!!

We wish you many years of happiness with these 2 sweet brothers ..

We have partnered with Angels of Assisi to bring the residents of Bedford County a discounted option for spaying/neutering their cats and dogs.  The shuttle runs once a month and picks up/drops off animals at Bedford Humane Society, transporting them to Angels of Assisi for surgery.

With A 💔 it’s so hard for me to tell you ToTo is gone …
I’m here to let you all know that since last Thursday I have pushed myself to do all I could for this sweet Fur-baby.
Today I had no choice but to give him Peace .
And the Heartbreak is unbearable ..
Y’all know that pain when you try all you can and maybe if I had more funding I could have did more or maybe that wouldn’t have mattered .
Today was the day I ask God Why ??
So innocent and sweet and only 5 month’s old .
He wanted so much to live ..
The hurt is the price we all pay to love one ..
Please know I ,

🚨🚨🚨🚨Help needed. Especially farms!

I have been reached out to on a situation that needs desperate help asap.

There’s a hoarding case in Penhook. Unsanitary conditions, some sick animals, etc. Currently they will surrender 4 rabbits (one is sick), 10 pigs and 4 turkeys. We are working on getting more to be surrendered, but these need out asap. If we can get them to surrender more, we will need placement. It is over 100 animals total, this is why the reporter does not want to call animal control yet and wants us all to find placement. It’s impossible for animal control to take this many, they could end up euthanized, etc. They also most likely would just be fined and animals remain.

Here’s the help we need at this moment:

1. Placement for the animals. We need some farms willing to take in pig(s) and turkey(s) even if temporarily. PETS ONLY. I’m trying to get some rabbit rescues to intake the rabbits because they need medical care and that’s expensive for rabbits.

2. Transportation help. We will need people with suvs, vans or trucks that are willing to transport the animals. The pigs and turkeys will need to be in crates/cages for transport.

3. Helping hands. If we find transport and placement, we need people to help lift the pigs into vehicles. It’s not a one person job.

4. Lastly, we need crates or cages large enough for turkeys and pigs.
