The scariest time of the year for pets is fast approaching. 😿🎆Fireworks anxiety often starts days (or even weeks) before the 4th, and it can quickly escalate without a plan in place.

We offer safe, effective options to help keep your pet comfortable, including medications like Sileo, trazodone, and gabapentin, along with other solutions based on your pet’s needs.

If this is your pet’s first time on medication, it’s important to test the dose early so you know how it affects your pet.

Call us to help you come up with a plan!

Our patients are keeping our Wednesday posts going strong! 🙃 Have we seen enough vomit pictures yet? 👀

"Hey there! I’m Zeus, and on Memorial Day I ate part of something common...and dangerous! Pretty soon I couldn’t keep anything down. I overheard my mom talking to the vet (😳) and in a last-ditch effort to avoid going to the doctor, I gave it one more try and… voilà! It came up! 👏💪

Unfortunately, I still had to make a trip to the hospital. 🙁 The team took x-rays to double-check my insides, and things looked a little questionable, so they needed me to bring up a little bit more. Thankfully, I got up what I needed to get up. I was a bit tired, but I’m feeling better now!”

The hospital is closed today.

In October 2013, the U.S. military dedicated its first national monument to combat dogs. Located at Lackland Air Force, the nine-foot tall bronze statue features a handler and four noble dogs. It is inscribed with the words, “Guardians of America’s Freedom.” The statue features the four major breeds that have been used since World War II: German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, Doberman Pinscher and Belgian Malinois.

Remember a few weeks ago when we said these things come in 3’s… 👀

"Hey there! I'm Wyatt and this is a a more of a “What DIDN’T I Eat?” Wednesday post. You all know my dad, Dr. Norberg. Turns out even doctors’ dogs can make not‑so‑great decisions. 😇

I decided our garbage can was full of yummy things. Over THREE POUNDS worth of “yummy things” (yes, he did a before‑and‑after weigh‑in) including leftover pasta and unfortunately bread dough. Bread dough is very dangerous because it can rise in my stomach. ☠

So Dad had to whisk me off to work a few hours before his shift, give me some medicine, and back up it all came. 🤢 I also had to spend the day here instead of at home in my bed. I’m feeling better now, but that was a bit ruff. 0/10, do not recommend eating the garbage. "
