Backyard BBQs are fun for the whole family, but some cookout favorites can be dangerous for pets. Keep curious noses away from plates, trash cans, and dropped food.

- Alcohol
- Chocolate
- Fatty or seasoned meats

Make sure your pet always has access to fresh, clean water—especially after walks, playtime, or time outdoors. Signs of dehydration can include:
💧 Dry or sticky gums�
💧 Excessive panting�
💧 Lethargy or weakness�
💧 Loss of appetite�
💧 Sunken eyes�
💧 Reduced urination
To help keep pets safe, walk dogs during cooler parts of the day, provide plenty of shade, and never leave pets in a parked car.
