Visiting the Farm Sanctuary has been on my bucket-list for quite awhile. It’s a safe haven for animals destined for consumption. Here they are no longer a commodity.

As someone who took an oath to prevent and relieve animal suffering, my heart & mind hurt when people don’t know where their food comes from or how their shoes or blankets were made.

Today I spent time just watching pigs at the sanctuary. They are so smart and show emotions. I was shocked to see how excited they were when they saw their food bowls & how quick they came over for scratches. One pig acted like my dog Bailey - she barks, runs around, and paws at the counter when I’m prepping her food while the other pig was like my little shih tzu Milo - quiet and patient.

I urge you, learn where your food comes from - what happens to male dairy calves, gestation crates, and calf hutches. Read about how down comforters are made. There are companies that are more sustainable & are kind to animals while they’re are here on Earth.

I wasn’t always a vegan & I am a realist. As much as I could wish we would all have the same love towards animals, it’s impossible.

So just start by eating one less meal with eggs, dairy, or meat. Use down alternative pillows. Visit a farm sanctuary. Just look at those eyes.

Meet Diamond.
Spayed, 8yr, up to date, 14lb

Shes had the worst day ever. Her dad had to go into a nursing home...realtors in/out, furniture moved out, and she was hunkered in the corner of the room shaking when I arrived.

She needs a home. Someone with patience so she can build her confidence. She lived with another dog, but was not socialized much.

Please consider opening your home. message me
