We are sorry to post that a black, domestic shorthair cat presented to us deceased on Saturday, 5/3.
He was a neutered male.
He had no collar & no microchip.
He was found by a good samaritan on Olney Rd in Wethersfield.

⭐️ Just a reminder for our clients ⭐️
Cat carriers are mandatory for all felines & Leashes are mandatory for all canines.
This is for the safety of your pets, and is not optional or up for debate.
We have had more than one cat escape from their owners arms this past few months. It is absolutely heartbreaking for everyone involved.
Your cat may be the friendliest, most well behaved little creature on this planet in the comfort of their own home, but all it takes is one barking dog, one motorcycle flying by, one child screaming to spook an animal in an unfamiliar environment.
Please check your carriers to make sure they are not broken in any way. A broken carrier should be replaced, not used. It is not worth the risk.
In regards to leashes for your canines, we encourage you to leave the flexi-leash at home and opt for a solid 4-6 foot leash for vet visit purposes. We also encourage you to check their collars and harness to ensure they fit properly prior to their appointment. If they can slip over the head easily, please tighten them for the day of your vet visit.

Brown Tabby female cat brought in to our office after being hit by a car nearby us. Patient was brought in at 12:20pm.
No microchip found. No collar around her neck.
She unfortunately has passed here with us.
Just wanted to post this in case you believe she may be yours.
