🎆 It’s the time of year again when fireworks are lighting up the night skies. While they are beautiful to look at, fireworks can be scary for our four-legged family members. 🎇

Since this can cause stress for both you and your pet, we have collected these tips to help navigate this fireworks season.

🏠 Keep your pet indoors and be sure their microchip and/or ID information is up to date, in case of running off!
🐾 Designate a safe space in your home where your pet can retreat to (whether a crate or a room). Make it comfortable with all their favorite blankets, beds, and toys.
🧩 Provide distractions with soothing music or white noise to dampen the sounds and puzzle toys or treats to occupy their mind.
💊 Talk with your veterinarian about calming supplements or medications that may be available to help keep your pet relaxed and happy.

Fireworks can be stressful, but with a little preparation, you AND your pet can enjoy the show! Remember, we are always here for any questions or concerns you may have. ☎️

We want to make everyone aware: There has been a large recall of dog foods produced by the company Raaw Energy and sold in CT and surrounding states.

These foods may be contaminated with Listeria 🦠, which can pose a health risk to the animals and humans who come in contact with it.

If you have purchased dog food products from Raaw Energy, please be sure to:

✅️ Check the full list of product lot numbers to see if your product is affected
✅️ Properly dispose of anything that has been recalled
✅️ Wash and sanitize any utensils, bowls, or surfaces that may have come in contact with them
✅️ Monitor your pet for any signs of illness.

West Hartford ACO Gulino brought this cutie in to visit us for some puppy vaccines.

💉 We know sometimes it feels like you’re constantly visiting us with your new furry family member with all the vaccines they need.

But those visits help protect them while their immune systems are still developing — keeping them healthy and happy. 🐾

And to be honest… we don’t mind all the puppy and kitten cuddles either! 🥰
