The weather is warming up and everyone wants to be out and about. A friendly reminder that now is the time to make sure your pet is up to date on their heartworm/intestinal parasite and flea/tick preventatives.
AHCC is now carrying Credelio Quattro, a monthly all-in-one preventative. If you're interested in trying it, give the office.

The office will be closed, Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day. If you are in need of any prescription food or medication please reach out early and give us 24 hours to get things filled by Friday the 22nd. We will be open for regular hours on Tuesday the 26th.

For those unfamiliar, NOMV is a leading advocate for veterinary mental health. What began as a Facebook support group in 2014 has grown into a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the veterinary profession through education, support, and resources.

Race Around the World is an annual awareness campaign and fundraiser that supports veterinary mental health professionals.
Participants track their activities throughout May, engaging in a friendly competition. It's not just running—any activity counts! Not a runner? No problem - ALL activities count - see the attached Activity Conversion PDF!

The staff here at AHCC wanted to give you a tip for this storm of the decade. All you need is a tarp and some rocks (and a hard working doggo).
Place a tarp out on the yard where your dog likes to do their business, keep an eye on it during the storm and give it the occasional sweep. After the storm lift up the tarp and your dog has a nice snow free area to walk. Especially nice for smaller dogs who might find the snow taller than them.
