When the zoomies start to fade, it might be more than just aging.

Arthritis is one of the most common causes of pain and stiffness in dogs, but the good news is, it’s manageable. From subtle signs like slowing down on walks to difficulty getting up or jumping, early recognition can make a big difference in your dog’s comfort and quality of life.

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution. The best approach is multimodal - combining treatments like joint supplements, injections, laser therapy, and anti-inflammatories, along with simple changes at home like supportive bedding and non-slip surfaces.

If your dog isn’t moving like they used to, don’t ignore it. We’re here to help keep them comfortable, active, and happy.

May is Arthritis Awareness Month 🐾

Arthritis is a common condition in aging dogs and cats, often causing stiffness, pain, and reduced mobility, but it doesn’t have to limit their quality of life. With early detection and proper care, pets can stay happy and active for years to come.

We’ll be sharing blogs this month all about arthritis in cats and dogs including what to watch for and how to help. Stay tuned!
