Sprout looks a little different than the other photo we have, much better thanks to a team of fosters pulling together! Medicated skin bath, nail trim, ear cleaning and love of course! Sprout is a very happy dude living with cats and dogs of various sizes. He's another sweet senior who will be looking for his forever home after a much needed dental! *Update* Norman did amazing yesterday for his dental! Only 5 teeth removed and thankfully he has quite a few left. He's definitely a much happier little guy*
Norman is the most recent addition to the group! Norman is approximately 11 years old and a poodle mix. He was found at a Crisis Center in Milwaukee where he was welcomed inside. After spending the day at the Center a lovely person took him to MADACC in hopes that his pet parents would come for him. Unfortunately, they never did. The first day in foster Norman ate a very small amount of chicken but by the next day he was not eating and not wagging his tail. Norman's teeth are so bad that he cannot eat - he was syringe fed for the last 24 hours and today felt a little better. Needless to say he will be fully vetted, and have those nasty rotten teeth removed this week. Under all his fluffy fur he is just skin and bones - who knows how long he has been unable to eat😔. He's wagged his tail more today and by the end of the week we hope to see it wagging non-stop! Stay tuned!!!

*Foster found*
We would love to take this senior guy in! He's already neutered, more than likely has some bad teeth and about 8 pounds. We'll take care of all his needs once he's in foster. Anyone that's interested in fostering him please reach out to me via message.

Teddy is also ready for his forever home! He's on the younger side 3-4, about 13 pounds and possibly a Bichon/Poodle Mix. Teddy is playful and would love to have a buddy to run and wrestle with! Teddy is being fostered in Eau Claire, WI but will be visiting SE Wisconsin from September 18-21st in case you want to meet him. If you have any questions please message me!

Ruby is ready for her forever home! This little Chi mix is about 4 years old and 10 pounds. She has a sweet disposition and is doing great in her foster home. Ruby would make an easy addition to just about any home!

MADACC has quite a few Chihuahua's currently and you can imagine how noisy and scary it is for these little ones. Please consider going there and adopting one - they just need some time to decompress so keep that in mind!

Sometimes the power of social media absolutely amazes me!! This little one was adopted by a family who understands Chihuahuas, someone who is willing to put in the time, no matter how long it takes! Thank you so much!*

Okay Chihuahua lovers - this little female needs out of the shelter as it's making her scared and nervous. She's already spayed, about 4 years old and 10 pounds. Let me know if you can help even if it's temporary!

*Thank you to all of you who expressed an interest in helping out. We have someone who can foster locally while he awaits his surgeries. Hopefully she will fall in love with him and adopt!
This little older gentleman could use a home to spend the rest of his life - instead of the kennel 😔. He's got a heart murmur of 3-4/6, which isn't terrible, but it's enough that it scares people away. He doesn't have a lot of teeth left and he has one un-descended testicle - but rescue would take care of whatever we can! Just need a committed foster!

We are hoping to add a couple new foster families to our rescue in the next couple weeks. We not only take Senior dogs but also younger dogs - some go quickly others take a little longer to get adopted. The end result is the same - getting them out of a scary, loud place and into a loving home. Summer is a tough time to find fosters due to vacations etc., so we haven't been able to take in as many dogs as we would like, but with your help we can change that!
