All bears received thus far have all been fleshed turned salted and most are dried, some already at the tannery and this weeks bears are draining, the final fall bear from 25’ was stretched today.. .. felt, back g and batting soon to follow.
We went from winter to full blown 75 degrees and summer this week.. as the temps rise fur quality goes down, fast.. real fast. No one wants a rubbed or poor furred bear on their wall. 😉
If you’re out and about this weekend and get a bear keep it cool, dry, knock off as much fat and meat as ya can.. if it stays in the 70’s, have a plan, we’re closed till Monday 8 am. Have a great weekend. 💪🏼
