Leave the plastic bags at home! Have a plan to keep your bear hides cool and dry (in a game bag) until you can get them to your taxidermist.

Tis the season…
1. Best of luck and be safe out there.
2. Leave the salt at home.
3. Treat your hide like you would treat your meat (cool and dry in a game bag).
4. Do your research on how to cut a bear for a rug. (Lots of good info out there)
5. If you are uncomfortable removing the feet and skull we can do it for you as long as it’s brought in a timely manner.
6. Show it off to your friends after it is tanned or mounted. Not driving it around in your truck for 2 or 3 days before you bring it in.
