Some of our smaller patients enjoy a little extra support, comfort, and closeness while they move through their day with us. Whether they’re heading to treatment, recovering, or just enjoying the ride, Heather has them covered.

It’s practical, cozy, and honestly pretty adorable. 💙

We work hard to make the hospital experience as comfortable and low-stress as possible for our patients. For Johnny, that means boxes and toys to turn his kennel into his own little playground while he waits for bloodwork.

Bloodwork helps us check for underlying health concerns, monitor chronic conditions, and gather important information before anesthesia. That information helps us create an anesthesia plan tailored to each individual patient.

Safe, thoughtful care can still include a little fun. 🐈💛

Dr. Sievers and Dr. Stepaniuk recently returned from Porto, Portugal, where they attended the annual European Veterinary Dental Forum. It was a wonderful opportunity to share expertise, continue learning, and connect with colleagues from around the world!

Chance was hit by a car and was thankfully very lucky. He came to us with a fractured tooth and ligament injury affecting his right TMJ.

His treatment included extraction of the damaged tooth and conservative management of his jaw injury. Once he was stable, we began physical therapy to support muscle strength and help reduce the risk of fibrosis and scarring during healing.

At his one-month recheck, Chance was doing great, and we were so happy to see how well he is recovering. 💙

Finley came to us with a diagnosis of an aggressive tumor, but Dr. Stepaniuk felt that the appearance of the mass, its behavior, and the pathology results did not fully add up.

He chose a more conservative excision, which proved to be curative. A larger biopsy sample later confirmed that the lesion was actually benign and inflammatory.

We are so happy for Finley and his family, and very grateful for such a positive outcome.

Toto was referred to us after his primary veterinarian found swelling associated with a premolar tooth. Further evaluation revealed a large cyst.

Using our Cone Beam CT imaging unit, we were able to better assess the area, plan the treatment approach, and help ensure complete removal of the cyst.

At 6 months old, Snorkel came to see us because her adult teeth didn’t look quite right. We found an extra adult tooth crowding its twin, which can increase the risk of periodontal disease.

To help get her back on track, we extracted the extra tooth and set her up for a healthier mouth long-term.

Did you know that extra adult teeth are called supernumerary teeth? We think they’re sometimes cute, but not always very super! 🦷
