💕Vet Tech Week💕Day 5🐾
We discovered Red Maple a few years ago. We were immediately struck by the personal, family feel, the knowledge and "bedside manner" of all staff--including vet techs!--the obvious skill in treatment, and the particular care given to the unique needs of the greyhound breed.
Since then, Red Maple has become our home (it's one of the only places I can navigate to without using my gps. ). Our dog Danny Boy starts whining and yelping the moment we turn into the parking lot, not because he's nervous, but because he simply cannot wait another second to get out of the car and enter what he believes to be his personal kingdom.
Once inside, he blesses his loyal subjects with his entitled nosiness and generous attention, from poking around under the front desk w/Heather, to gently but insistently tugging the vet techs into the back room where he receives his treats (only one particular brand, thank you very much). Every single vet tech is so warm and confident in all their dealings with him; I've never felt so comfortable in a veterinary office. While waiting in the exam room for Danny to receive his various labs and exams in the back, I can always hear the techs and doctors making a huge fuss over him, giving him treats, pets, and love (and frankly, feeding into his superiority complex).
I know I can call or email Red Maple at the drop of a hat, for any reason; they get back to me right away with advice and support, while scheduling me quickly and easily. I'm actually getting a bit emotional writing this, because I truly feel so thankful to have found Red Maple and all the wonderful folks there. It's certainly Danny Boy-approved, which is the highest recommendation I can possibly give. :) Love, The one and only Danny Boy ❤️
