๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒˆ Slate ๐Ÿ’œ 9 Years of Love ๐Ÿ’œ French Bulldog ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ

Scott and Shauna share, "Slate filled our home with a kind of love that canโ€™t be replaced โ€” his French Bulldog kisses heโ€™d sneak in when we least expected them, and the way heโ€™d curl into us on the couch like it was his favorite place in the world. His cuddles were steady, warm, and full of trust, the kind that made even the hardest days feel lighter. Weโ€™ll always remember the weight of him against us, the sweetness of his face, and the quiet comfort he brought just by being near. Slate wasnโ€™t just a pet โ€” he was family, and his love will stay with us forever."

๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒˆ Toma ๐Ÿ’œ 15 Years of Love ๐Ÿ’œ Cattle Dog Mix ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ

Leah and Michael share, "Toma was a sweet and gentle soul, a champion player of fetch, and our constant companion. His focus was on his people, his Chuckit ball, and any toy that he could squeak. We called him our dairy dog, because he would do anything for a cheese stick or the chance to lick a yogurt container. He loved to go camping, run on the beach, jump in the water to fetch a stick, and curl up next to us at the end of the day. We rescued him from a family who had found him on the side of the road, emaciated and covered in fleas. They cleaned him up and cared for him until his forever family came along. He deserved every bit of happiness he got, and we were honored to give that to him and have him in our lives. Our home is too empty and quiet without him, but he left us peacefully, in our arms, knowing he was deeply loved."

๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒˆ Charlie ๐Ÿ’œ 22 Years of Love ๐Ÿ’œ Domestic Longhair ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ

Griselda shares, "Charlie. 22 years. He started off as the neighbor's new kitten. He was smaller than my hand and I was a small kid. Surprising to say he got massive. He over time decided our home was where he wanted to be and everyone had to accept that. Needless to say he was a bully. The only one that was safe was Tiger, our other cat. He won many battles in our neighborhood and inside the house. He gave us a run for our money and our indoor animals as well. I loved him and as much as he scared me at times trying to care for him I wouldn't trade those moments for the world. Those moments are so ingrained in me. I know he loved me and my family. I was hoping for so many more years because why not he was already this old. I am sure he was living off of spite and I did not care if he was. I am sure he is now with Tiger. Who passed exactly 4 years prior just the day before. I am sure he is establishing his superiority up in heaven. I wish I could have given more. I was never ready to say goodbye to you. Thank you for choosing us."

๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒˆ Buddy ๐Ÿ’œ 17 Years of Love ๐Ÿ’œ Domestic Shorthair ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ

Julie and Remy share, "My husband Remy encountered Buddy as a stray when he was around 1 year old. He started feeding him, but Buddy would never come inside. This went on for years, with Buddy living in a nearby bush. Eventually, enough trust was built that Buddy started coming inside. For the second half of his life, he enjoyed being an indoor cat. He was like a shadow to Remy, and eventually came around to me too and stopped hiding under the bed. He had so much personality and charm. He loved sunbeams, catnip, watching squirrels and birds, and sitting with Remy. We will miss our little Buddy."

๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒˆ Ellie ๐Ÿ’œ 12 Years of Love ๐Ÿ’œ Chug ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ

shares, "Ellie came into my life as a rescue. From day one, she was stuck to me like glue. She loved going for walks (and walking faster than any other dog on the walk) until arthritis made it impossible for her to walk anymore. Above all else, she loved food and had a huge appetite all the way until her last day. Her nickname was Pig. This is threefold - she would oink like a pig when she's jump on the couch, she made oinking noises when she ate food, and she made little pig noises while she was sleeping. She had a very big personality, much bigger than her small size would indicate. She also loved to watch TV and would get upset if she couldn't see the TV when she was resting."

Terri shares, "Red, aka Hollywood loved photos, he always seemed to be posing. He was a chatter box and would follow you around and talk to you. He sensed when you needed some love and would crawl up in your lap, he was a wonderful companion. He brought joy to us and our grandkids. He would let them carry him around and never scratched or complained. We will miss you Red."

๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒˆ Dotty ๐Ÿ’œ Almost 15 Years of Love ๐Ÿ’œ Lhasa Apso ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ

Amy writes, "Dotty June Vroman, 4/2/11 - 1/25/26

My small but mighty Dotty Dog went to heaven on Sunday. She was my loyal friend for just shy of 15 years. A tiny little bed hog, she was known to sleep on her face and tolerated struggle snuggles every morning. She collected more nicknames than most because of her many different hairstylesโ€”Frenchie, Muffin, Squeedle, Jeedles, Munchie, and Goobles. Dotty wore her mean mustache proudly and gave it to any dog, cat or horse that needed it, and happily gave us daily doses of her infamous beard-juice sprinkler.

She showed off her signature tricks like fist bump, bro fist, and her backwards neck move. After a bath, sheโ€™d breakdance on a towel and loved to play โ€œarctic foxโ€ and attack your hand under a blanket. She loved to take off running when let out to pottyโ€”Iโ€™m sure every neighbor has seen me in my bathrobe and slippers. She was a very spoiled girl, loving her almost-daily beef bone. We joked that she could build a skeleton out of her collection of bones.

She hated scooters and skateboards, baths, and going to the groomers. Dotty couldnโ€™t stand wearing clothes but proudly wore her fancy Christmas collar. She was never a fan of sizzling stoves that set off the smoke alarm, and she especially hated it when the girls did the โ€œfartmanโ€ noise.

Dotty was the ultimate road-trip buddy, always ready to โ€œget in the bagโ€ for an adventure. She spent many days at the beach playing in the water, chasing seagulls and napping in the sand.

She loved going boating, sticking her head out the car window, riding on the back of my bike in a crate, and feeling the wind in her face. She was happiest playing in the snow and sledding, laying in puddles, along lake edges, and in the ocean. She loved chasing birds, chickens, cats, and the occasional coyote. She loved walks and adventures around the property, camping trips where she could get gloriously dirty, and visiting GiGiโ€™s house to take walks in the park and keep the neighborhood in order. She loved talking to her best neighbor dog friend, Koda, and leaving him p*e mail. Dotty loved guarding the house from her favorite spot on the couch and curling up on any floor blanket. She loved unwrapping presents, leaving presents under the Christmas tree ๐Ÿ˜‰, playing with her squeaky toys, and working on her snuffle ball filled with beef livers. And of course, she never passed up her favorite treatsโ€”beef livers, fruit, 10% of your ice cream, and pup cups.

My heart aches with the loss of her. I can still hear her many noises and feel her next to me. Iโ€™ll love you forever, my Dotty Girl."

Shares, "Bonnie Marie Aragon was the most beautiful, sweet, affectionate little soul Iโ€™ve ever had the honor to wake up to for the past 20 years of my life! When I was 21 y/o I decided I wanted a kittenโ€ฆ I say in a kitty of kittens and she chose me, I am forever grateful she did! I would choose her over and over again!
Bonnie was my best little friend in the whole world! She wasnโ€™t just a cat.. she was my child, my confident, my listening buddy, my biggest fan (the feeling was very mutual) the one living being in my life that I protected against all things I could. Bonnie was the sweetest ball of fluffโ€ฆ
Bonnie chose meโ€ฆ. Out of all of the kittens, she came to me over and over and I knew it was meant to be! She chose me and I would chose her over and over again. On the ride home she rested on my chest in my jacket. That night I tin her to my bed and she suckled in my lower lip all nightโ€ฆโ€ฆ This continued for her entire life ( she would kiss me on my lips for hoursโ€ฆ I sometimes had to cover my mouth or sheโ€™d never stopโ€ฆ it was her comfort, like sucking a thumbโ€ฆ she would always pull my face towards hers when she wanted kissesโ€ฆ I think Iโ€™ll miss that connection the most!
Bonnie loved playing tag ( chasing after me) she loved cuddling, playing with and stalking my hair ties ( sheโ€™d place them intentionally in her food dish) she loved treats and always made sure she was sitting directly in front of me when I was eating any meal, hoping to get a bite of chicken or a little piece of cheese. Thereโ€™s just so much to say about my girlโ€ฆ the comfort, love and happiness she brought me was endlessโ€ฆ. I will miss her until the day I join her! Rest in peace my sweet baby girl!"

shares, "Happy girl was a rescue. I loved her sweet face instantly and she was so loved. She was our first baby until her 2 bothers came and years later her furry cat brother Steve. Happy was the most loyal, loving fur baby. She loved to hangout around the boys when they ate because she got to eat everything they dropped. Her favorite spot in the house was near Cooper and her second favorite is the beach or the cabin.
We miss her so much but know sheโ€™s watching over us and we will see her again. Until then sweet girl, run, eat all the treats and take long naps. We love you."

๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒˆ Taffy Anne ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ 17.5 years of love ๐Ÿ’œ Long-Haired Dachshund ๐Ÿ’œ

shares, "We adopted Taffy to be my motherโ€™s companion when she was 2 years young. She was such a cuddly bunny. She lived with my mom from 2010 to 2021. My mom loved to garden and Taffy loved the freedom of her fenced in garden.

She never really considered herself a canine and never really played with other dogs. Indeed she would ignore them. In all the years I was with her, I never once observed her greet a dog or sniff their behind.

When we would encounter friendly dogs on the bike trailโ€”especially the young malesโ€”she would look up at me with her beautiful brown eyes as if to say. โ€œSave me.โ€ I would bend down and scoop her up and quietly explain. โ€œShe is 13 and is just tired of the boys sniffing her behind.โ€

In July of 2021, Taffy came to live with us. She loved her daily walks and was quite the foodie.

My mother had spoiled her by allowing her to lick up her dinner plate. Taffy was so excited when we finished our meals. She was the best plate licker around! Sometimes, when our meal was inappropriate for her, I would rinse my plate off and than sprinkle it with a bit of rice, olive oil and cheese. Oh the things we do for our four legged friends. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Our beloved Taffy Anne passed peacefully away on December 26. She was 17 1/2 years young run free Miss Taffy Anne! ๐Ÿ’ž thank you for bringing so much joy and to our lives and for taking such good care of Doris."
