🕯️ Tonight, we light a candle to welcome some very special souls home. 🐾❤️
As the sun sets this evening, we are lighting our ofrenda at Arbor View Animal Hospital in honor of the beloved pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge.
It is believed that their spirits find their way home, guided by candlelight, familiar scents, and the love of those who remember them.
Día de los Mu***os, or Day of the Dead, is a beautiful Mexican tradition centered on remembrance, love, and celebrating the lives of those who have passed.
An ofrenda, or altar of remembrance, often includes photographs, marigolds, candles, favorite foods, and treasured belongings. Each element carries meaning, creating a welcoming place for the memories and spirits of loved ones.
To every family who has shared a photograph, a name, or a memory with us: thank you.
Thank you for trusting us with the care of your beloved companions during their lives, and for allowing us to continue honoring them after they've passed.
Some of the pets on our ofrenda were patients we knew for years. Others we may have only met briefly. But every photograph represents a life filled with love, and every name has a story worth remembering.
It has been incredibly meaningful for our team to share memories, hear your stories, and see so many familiar faces again.
