🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MEET ALYSSA! 🌟

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Alyssa, one of our amazing Kennel Attendants! 🐾

🐶 How long have you been in veterinary medicine?
Alyssa has been working in veterinary medicine for a little over 4 years!

🐱 Tell us about your pets!
Alyssa has three fur babies of her own!

🐾 Belemi – Her tabby boy who was rescued as a stray and brought to the clinic.
🐾 Weasley (aka Weasel) – Her fluffy orange boy who was also rescued as a stray and found his way to the clinic about a year after Belemi.
🐾 Ivy – Her pittie who will be turning 6 this December!

And there’s a fun theme—all of Alyssa’s pets are named after movies or TV shows! 🎬

💙 What’s your favorite part of the job?
For Alyssa, it’s the bonds she gets to build with all the fur babies who come through our doors. She loves learning their routines, personalities, and all the little quirks that make each pet unique. She cares for them as if they were her own, helping give their families peace of mind while they’re away.

One of her favorite things is watching a nervous pet slowly come out of their shell and become comfortable with our staff—and even make new furry friends during daycare! 🐶🐾

✨ Fun Facts About Alyssa:
🔬 She loves all things science fiction and fantasy, especially Marvel, Stranger Things, and Harry Potter.
🎨 She enjoys arts & crafts and reading.
🎃 Halloween and fall are her absolute favorites!
🌊 Her dream job would be in marine biology or elementary education.
🦦 And her favorite animal? Otters!

We’re so happy to have Alyssa as part of our Coyne family and appreciate all the love and care she gives our boarding and daycare pets every day! 💙🐾

🚐🐾 FREE PET PICK-UP & DROP-OFF SERVICE! 🐾🚐

Starting Monday, August 24 through September 30, 2026, Coyne Veterinary Center – Portage is making pet care a little more convenient for our current clients!

We are offering FREE pet pick-up and drop-off service Monday–Friday for current clients located within a 5-mile radius of our Portage location.

A few important details:

🐶 Dogs must weigh 80 lbs. or less and have a temperament appropriate for safe transportation and handling.
🐱 Cats must be secured in their own carrier before our team arrives for pick-up.
⏰ For basic services, we will do our best to have your pet at the clinic for under 2 hours. If your pet requires additional testing, diagnostics, treatment, or more extensive care, their visit may take longer.
💳 Payment is due at the completion of services, prior to your pet’s return home.
📍 Available to current Coyne Veterinary Center – Portage clients within a 5-mile radius.
📅 Monday–Friday only
🚐 Limited spots are available each day, so advance scheduling is recommended!
