🐱 6 Common Cat Myths
1. Myth: Cats always land on their feet.
🔍 Truth: While cats have a “righting reflex” that helps them land feet-first, it’s not foolproof—especially from short or extreme heights. They can get seriously injured from falls.

2. Myth: Cats hate water.
🔍 Truth: Many cats dislike being submerged, but some breeds (like Turkish Vans or Bengals) love water. Others may enjoy playing with running water from a faucet.

3. Myth: A purring cat is always happy.
🔍 Truth: Cats purr for many reasons—including stress, pain, or even during illness. It’s a way they comfort themselves.

4. Myth: Cats can see in total darkness.
🔍 Truth: Cats have excellent night vision, but they still need some light to see. They can’t see in pitch black any better than humans.

5. Myth: All cats hate dogs.
🔍 Truth: Lots of cats and dogs coexist—and even bond deeply! With proper introductions and temperament matching, they can be great companions.

6. Myth: Cats only meow to other cats.
🔍 Truth: Adult cats rarely meow to each other—they mostly meow to communicate with humans. In a way, they’ve developed a “language” just for us!
