One of our long time dachshund parents sent me the cutest picture of their dachshunds and their grandchild. She said beware of #1 and #5. Can you pick out the Bright Creek pups from the lineup? (2, and 3 are LuckyDox, 4 is BCK). Hilarious

Back tonight from Franklin, TN dog shows. Haberdasher (Dash) went Reserve Winners at the CVDC Specialty and won Winner Dog and Best of Winners against a very nice lineup. There were some great dogs competing for a five point major! (16 in total). Thanks to all the people who helped with the shows and especially Ms Lew Olsen for picking out Dash!

As a breeder, you sometimes just have a sixth sense about pet parents. I had "that feeling" about this particular person......well, she passed on this pup, now she is available. My heart is saddened at the loss of Bling It On. One of the best dogs EVER. She will be missed by me for many years to come. I have no words for the hurt. I knew she did not feel well when I left her at the vet's office on Thursday. I assured her I was coming back for her, I just never dreamed she would be in a cardboard box. She was my girl. I loved her dearly.
