Dr. Davis, and team, completed one of their acclimatization hikes to over 15,500 feet above sea level. He said it wasn't very restful and was straight up, but the views were beautiful! He sent a video, included below, that has him explaining what mountains they can see. What do you think of the views?

Dr. Davis update! The team has completed the veterinary and medical camps and has started the trek to Everest Base Camp. Dr. Davis sent some beautiful photos of the trek so far with some videos of yak/yak crosses that have passed them on the trail. Yesterday evening (for us) they were at 13,100 feet above sea level and had a full day of hiking ahead. They have since made it to the next village to rest for the night. Dr. Davis is doing great and enjoying the adventure so far!

Dr. Davis has completed his first day of treating yaks! The veterinary camp is at almost 13000 feet above sea level and has Mount Everest as the backdrop. Dr. Davis treated some healthy yaks with some preventative medicine, but also had some interesting cases, including a yak that was attacked by a Tibetan Wolf. We look forward to hearing more soon!

Dr. Davis has made it to Nepal to trek in the Everest Region to do some volunteer veterinary work at a Yak cooperative! He will be with a team also doing a human medical dental camp in the village that Sir Edmund Hillary built his school. They will then head to Mount Everest base camp. Dr. Davis will be sending us updates along the trek, as he is able, and we will be posting them!
