We had a great show, but these wins were special! Zaza and Cary are in their first year of showing.. Jordans gelding is 3, and this was his second show.. Really proud of both of them..
It's been a busy day at the Desert Classic show in Scottsdale! Zaza won the purebred Arab Ranch Riding Amateur to Ride (ATR), and Jordan won the half Arab Ranch Riding ATR!🏆

The 2020 Sport Horse National Arabian and Half Arabian Championship Horse Show is under way and we have some wonderful news to share. Destiny by Design NF, who is by the treasured AM Designing Star (Desi) and out of an off-the-track Thoroughbred rescue mare, was named the 2020 Supreme Champion Sport Horse Two Year Old In-Hand. This win is momentous and seems to indeed be destiny. While Desi may not be with us anymore, he lives on in his offspring and winning bloodlines and for that we are humbled and grateful. We can hardly contain the excitement we have for this mare’s future.
We had a great Scottsdale show! So many top tens, or better! My goofy crew, did fantastic job showing, and behind the scenes preparing horses. I am so thankful for everyone❤️
Even on a bustling Saturday we aren't too busy to share knowledge. The subject of this lesson was a green stud colt.
Who wouldn't like to cool off in the AZ heat! Miss Laser loves to get hosed off when we fill her water 😍
We have a "hard time" wrangling our Bolt in! He's always been a personable and people-oriented horse. He's doing a fine job of passing it on to his foals as well! 2018 Sport Horse Nationals is off to a great start for Nelson Farms and Rancho Sonado Arabians! Congratulations to Nan and Dick Walden on Benedito Bay SMA’s National Championship in the Arabian Gelding Dressage in Hand!
Everyone meet, CJ! CJ is by Khash PGA and out of Boots N Boys LOA, a Millennium LOA+ grandaughter. CJ is not only beautiful but she is extremely personable and loves her human friends. Enjoy this video of play time with mom taken yesterday!
