Our Story

The Complete Canine team is Jeremy Brown and Kari Cleland. We are professional dog trainers in Tucson, Arizona. Our vision is to have a training center that focuses on building a bond like no other with your four legged (or less) companion through positive reinforcement. We specialize in socialization, AKC Canine Good Citizen, therapy dog training, and facilitating curriculum for puppy through advanced courses. About Jeremy: With close to 10 years of professional dog training under my belt, I specialize in positive reinforcement, socialization, therapy dog training, and building a positive relationship between canines and their humans. I enjoy teaching other trainers how to use positive methods and had vast experience at the corporate level. As a therapy dog handler I see the impact that these animals have on humans each day, especially those going through tough situations. My goal is to be able to help others realize their dream of becoming a therapy dog team. I have helped over 175 teams pass the certification exam to volunteer their time with Animal Assisted Therapy, whether that be visiting hospitals, listening to children read, or reaching at-risk youth. Furthermore, I have The passion we have for animals is immense and we feel that we have even more to give. We hope to improve the lives of many people and dogs and use methods and beliefs that will truly change our animals without force. Class Information: We offer both group classes and private lessons. Group classes meet weekly for one hour for six weeks. The $150 cost ($175 at Sabino Canyon Pet Resort) for group classes includes the full six weeks with make up classes if needed. The schedule varies, please contact us at (520) 403-1401 or [email protected] for a schedule of upcoming classes. Our private classes are $75 an hour in the studio and $100 an hour for in home visits. These can be scheduled when most convenient and meet at any frequency needed, although usually private classes still meet for an hour at a time and usually once or twice a week. Private classes are a good option if meeting weekly is not convenient or if you would like to learn material in a different order or at a different pace than a group.
