Hi my name is Champ, I’m approximately 18 months old. As of today, I am neutered microchipped and up on my shots. You can read the story of my mom and I down below this posting. We came from a very nasty nasty horrible environment and we’re looking for someone to love us. I’m good with other dogs, like water, I travel OK and great with children. But since I have come to TLR, the world to me is Disneyland, all fun. I’m looking for a family to patiently love and train me to become that perfect boy. I’m being fostered in Lodi.

People for Pets invites you to join us on August 9th at our adoption fair at PetSmart in Tracy. This special pet fair will be dedicated to the memory of Melanie De Jonge. P4P will be presenting Niels, a very special long term foster dog, to an adopter in memory of Melanie. Melanie was an avid animal enthusiast who was very passionate and committed to helping stray dogs find new loving homes. Melanie was at a dog training class in Oregon for her first training session with foster dog Phil when, tragically, she collapsed & passed away 2 days later. People for Pets will sponsor Niels' adoption to Nicolette, a clinical psychologist, in memory of Melanie. Nicolette, whose focus is on trauma related cases, will have Niels certified for therapy work with her clients. Please stop by and sign the card at P4Ps event Saturday Aug. 9th. RESCUED BY ANOTHER RESCUE

We know it’s a HUGE ask but is anyone willing to help foster this sweet family of 5? The shelter is no place for this sweet Mama named Honeybee 🐝 and her 4 pups! They are 4 days old, born in the shelter and while the shelter is doing their best to keep them out of danger, there is still risk of them catching something that would be dangerous to neonates this age.

We will provide everything needed along with support!

Foster should be within 1-2 hours of Sacramento, be home during the day. Experience would be great but not totally necessary.
