Beans is a very special girl 🫘

Our special girl Beans has been waiting so patiently to become available for adoption. Now that it has been a few weeks, she has met a few people, but no one has been the perfect match for Beans! Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense because Beans is dog & cat friendly and truly meant to be your best bud.

Beans does have some special needs. However, her most important requirement is that she needs to take it easy: walks in a stroller, air-conditioned rooms, comfy beds. Maximus is trying so hard 💔🐾

Shelter life has been extra stressful for this young guy, and being stuck in a kennel all day just isn’t bringing out the best in him. But the second Maximus gets outside? Totally different dog. Suddenly he’s goofy, loving, playful, and ready to take on the world 🌎💙 At just 1.5 years old, Maximus is full of energy and personality. He LOVES water 💦, enjoys playing with other dogs 🐕, and is always ready for an adventure.

And guess what? Maximus will be joining us THIS SATURDAY, 5/30 from 9am–1pm at the Freehold Walmart for our BIGGEST adoption event ever 🎉 Come meet this handsome little powerhouse in person and see the sweet boy hiding behind the shelter stress 💙

Lilah was adopted as a kitten back in 2023 and recently returned to the shelter through absolutely no fault of her own. After losing the only home she’s ever known, this gorgeous girl is struggling to understand why she’s back here.

Most days, Lilah stays tucked away in her little hidey hole while people walk past her cage, often not even realizing she’s there. But Lilah is there, quietly hoping someone will stop, notice her, and give her the forever home she thought she already had 🥺 She deserves a family that means forever this time.

Another day, another litter of puppies walked into the shelter. Woof. 🐶

These babies came to us from an unwanted litter. Their mom isn’t spayed, gets out often, came home pregnant… and now here we are. Ten more puppies needing care, space, supplies, and eventually homes.

No time to wallow, time to get to work & we need your help to keep up. Our shelter is in desperate need of:
