This sweet girl was found near the Hilton Garden Inn on the corner of Main St and E Constance Road in Suffolk.

We will be contacting Suffolk Animal Control as we are unable to hold.

High temps = high risk! Heat stroke is a life-threatening emergency for dogs and cats, especially in hot, humid weather.

🚫 NEVER leave pets in parked cars — even for a few minutes. Temps can soar in seconds!

⚠️ Warning signs of heat stroke:

Excessive panting or drooling
Lethargy or collapse
Vomiting or diarrhea
Bright red or pale gums

What to do:

Move your pet to a cool area immediately.

Hydration is Key : Always provide fresh, cool water for your pets. Dehydration can be dangerous, so keep an eye on their water intake.

Avoid Overheating : Limit exercise during peak heat hours. Opt for early morning or late evening walks when it's cooler.

Shade and Shelter : Ensure your pets have access to shaded areas and never leave them in a parked car, even for a short time.

Watch for Signs of Heatstroke : Excessive panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting can be signs of heatstroke. If you notice these symptoms, move your pet to a cool place and seek veterinary care immediately.
