This individual is precisely the reason it is challenging to trust people with our puppies. Our puppies are adopted as pet companions unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with a signed contract and full AKC registration. We rarely allow our puppies to leave us for breeding and when we do, we ensure they have been health tested and are suitable in all aspects for breeding. We are bringing attention to the fact that Christie Spad of Venice, Florida, adopted Poppey, a cream bear coat Shar-Pei, from Zealous Blue Shar Pei as a pet companion. Christie Spad has since bred Poppey with a male Shar-Pei that she adopted from another party. Our contract explicitly prohibits breeding our puppies, and any violations will result in immediate legal action. After reaching out to Christie Spad, she blocked us on Messenger, prompting us to send her an email and a text message. We welcome any information individuals may have regarding this situation or any posts that you may find. Although Christie Spad has blocked us, we have retained screenshots of her original posts, which are attached to this message and will be used as evidence of breach of contract.

Blu is a miniature bear coat male from our older established lines and he is our chosen pick of the litter puppy. He is currently featured on our website, but we anticipate that he won’t be for long. Both parents are single carriers for SPAID and descend from lines with no history of health or eye issues. His birthdate is May 19th, and he will be ready for placement on July 12th.

We have received an update from Reba’s family. Reba, previously known as Magnolia/Maggie during her time with us, was born to Freya and Baloo and will be celebrating her first birthday in a couple of weeks. Prior to her departure at 8 weeks of age, we conducted health testing on Reba. As anticipated, the results indicated that Reba is a non-carrier for SPAID and Glaucoma, despite both parents being single carriers for SPAID. This outcome is a testament to Reba’s excellent health, demonstrating that favorable genetic combinations can occur.

On Tuesday, Pepper/Bunny was reserved by a family who already owns our Shar-Pei, and I was truly inspired by their heartfelt affection for our sweet little Bunny. I am overjoyed to know her future will be filled with love and devotion. Bunny will remain with children, which was a key consideration for me. We will certainly miss this charming girl.

After sharing a post about Pepper, I observed that several negative comments were made by individuals who were not followers of my page. This indicates that these individuals specifically visited my page to express their negativity. As this is my page, only those who choose to like or follow it are able to view my content. If anyone disagrees with my posts or the puppies I produce, I suggest they refrain from following my page and reserve their negative comments. I maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards negativity and drama within my program. While I fully support rescue efforts, this page is not intended for those who oppose breeders. Her name is Pepper but I should have named her Bunny. She hops around when she’s excited just like a bunny, super cute and so funny! Pepper is our last puppy still looking for a loving home. She is a black toy size bear out of Kimber and Blaze and she was born on February 28th. She developed cherry eye in both eyes. As you can see from the pictures of her jumping around and her confidence that this does not bother her at all.
We spoke to our vet about the development of cherry eye and they suggested that if it is to be repaired that it is repaired during her spay so that she is only put under anesthesia once. The vet said that cherry eye is also cosmetic and doesn’t usually cause any other issues. She is featured on our website reflecting a discount and will still go home with a genetic health guarantee. One more reservation open for our guaranteed non carrier and single carrier litter out of these two. They are expecting around June 1st. If there are not enough puppies born in any of our litters your deposit will be transferred to the next litter or until you choose your puppy. We are expecting several summer litters!!! We are super excited to have puppies again.
