Looking for a dog who loves to play hard and make the most of every day? Meet Buster Brown!

Buster Brown recently spent the afternoon burning off some puppy energy with ACO Rachel's dog, Babe, and he had an absolute blast. If your current dog enjoys rough-and-tumble wrestling, chasing, and active play sessions, Buster Brown could be the perfect addition to your family.

At approximately 6 months old, Buster is still very much a puppy and would thrive in a home with another playful canine companion who can match his energy and enthusiasm. After a good play session, he's happy to settle down and enjoy some well-earned relaxation.

Buster Brown is:• Approximately 6 months old• Neutered• Vaccinated• Negative for disease• Microchipped

Best of all, his adoption fee has been waived through the month of June.

If you've been looking for a fun-loving playmate for your dog, Buster Brown may be your guy.

High Noon in the Cattery.

This week, residents Fritz and Paris found themselves locked in what appeared to be an old-fashioned Western showdown. Standing at opposite ends of the cattery, both cats stared each other down as if waiting for someone to make the first move.

Would Fritz, the grizzled former street cat with years of experience under his collar, draw first?

Or would Paris, young, confident, and armed with an abundance of cattitude, make her move?

The tension was thick. The crowd (mostly volunteers) watched in anticipation.

Seconds felt like hours.

Hearts raced.

Whiskers twitched.

And then...

Absolutely nothing happened.

Because, as it turns out, neither one wanted to risk spilling their afternoon nap schedule.

No cats were harmed in the making of this showdown. Pride, however, may have suffered minor injuries.

Who do you think would have won this epic battle of wills—Team Fritz or Team Paris?

Yeti recently headed out on another adventure with several of our amazing volunteers and professional dog trainer Evelia from Pawsitive Approach to practice real-world skills and continue building confidence around new people at Paradise Green.

Yeti is a wonderful dog with a huge heart, a goofy personality, and an endless supply of snuggles for the people he trusts. He enjoys other dogs, loves spending time with his human friends, and has made tremendous progress during his time with us. Like many dogs, however, Yeti can be nervous when meeting new people for the first time. When he's unsure, he may appear reactive, but what he's really saying is, "I'm scared and need a little time."

The good news? Yeti is absolutely worth that time.

Once he gets to know you, his playful, affectionate, and loyal personality shines through. He's the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with his people and will happily trade kisses, cuddles, and laughter for a little patience and understanding.

Because of this, potential adopters should be prepared to meet Yeti more than once before bringing him home. We know that extra effort isn't for everyone, but for the right person, the reward is an incredible companion who will love you with his whole heart.

To help set Yeti and his future family up for success, his adoption fee has been completely waived and he comes with six free private training sessions through Pawsitive Approach.

Yeti has been waiting far too long for someone to see past his initial uncertainty and discover the amazing dog underneath. We know that person is out there.
