Know Your Braid, Part 3: BONDMAKER XXL

The max build. 8 strands of 550 paracord — the thickest braid I make — and it comes with the heavy locking carabiner clip standard, because a leash built for strength should look it and be it. +$20 at any length: 3 ft $45 · 4 ft $50 · 5 ft $55 · 6 ft $60.

NEW for the makers: two of my own bench tools are up as digital print files — the self-centering BioThane punch guide and the Swap-Top snap-spacing jig. Print them on your own printer, use them on your own bench.

Looking for local product testers 🐕‍🦺

Unbroken Bond Designs is opening prototype testing to a few local handlers. If you're in the Stratford / southern Connecticut area and you work a working dog — PSA, K9, SAR, sport, or serious training — I want my gear tested where it actually gets used.

Testers get prototype leashes, collars, and new designs before they launch. In return I need three things: honest feedback, a few photos of your dog working the gear, and telling me straight when something doesn't hold up.

This isn't freebies for followers — it's for people who'll put real miles and real pressure on the gear.

That's how many pieces of gear have come off my bench since I started Unbroken Bond Designs — every leash, collar, tug toy, and keychain cut, woven, and finished by hand, on top of a day job building elevators.

133 last year. 171 already this year, with a quarter still to go.

Know Your Braid, Part 1: The BONDMAKER

This is the standard build — 4 strands of 550 paracord in a thin line Solomon weave, braided by hand at my bench in Stratford. Ring by the handle standard, so you can loop it around yourself hands-free at the park.
