Sadly our original "Forte three" became the "Forte Two" a few days ago. 5 nights ago, we said goodbye to Todd's retired Police K9, Zeus.
From September 2015 to October 2022, Zeus served the Spokane Police Department and the Spokane community with unwavering courage and loyalty. He completed nearly 2,900 hours of training, was deployed more than 1,500 times, helped capture nearly 400 suspects, and participated in more than 100 public demonstrations educating our community.
He faced some of the most dangerous situations imaginable—including SWAT callouts, being shot at and never hesitated to protect Todd, other officers, and our community.
But Zeus was so much more than the numbers and the loud, deep bark. In retirement and when we started our business, Zeus became the leader of our "Forte Three" as we called them. It was him, Jack and Bella. These three dogs have helped us train clients dogs by merely teaching them how to dog with timely corrections and representing us as the face Forte K9 Academy. Sadly it's time to pass the torch. We are devastated and are missing him terribly. Rest easy Big Zeus!
