CONSTRUCTION UPDATE! Cabinetry is going in soon, lighting is up and running, painting is taking place, and the outside of our building is waiting for siding! We chose the colors of the great Pacific Northwest: the beautiful blues in our skies, the grays of the bubbling water that fills our streams and rivers (our Spokane falls in Riverfront Park were an inspiration for us) and of course a little accent of green for the lush green fields and trees that scatter across our terrain. Soooo excited to see what's next!! Thank you ANIMAL ARTS for our design and working with our color palette theme, thank you to SUMMIT ELECTRICAL for lighting us up, thank you to GRAYBEARD WELDING and thank you to FLYWHEEL CONSTRUCTION for pulling it all together! We have so many more to thank so we'll try and keep you all posted!

WOW! Congratulations Katie--we can't believe two of our assistants are moving on to vet school! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what the future has in store! We will miss you dearly but wish you well in all your new adventures in veterinary school!💕

Lily Flowers: A Danger for Curious Cats

The first signs of spring come with fresh blooms brightening up our landscape and taking center stage. It is a good time to take a look at the ever popular Lily plant that we see right now in all our grocery stores and plant stores around Spokane.

The Lily plant is highly toxic to cats. In fact, the entire plant, leaves, pollen, stems, flowers and even the water in the vase can all cause serious problems for our feline friends.

Lily exposure can lead to severe kidney failure and kidney damage.

If your cat has ingested or you suspect they have ingested any part of a Lily plant or drank water from a Lily vase, please contact your daytime veterinarian or Animal Emergency Clinic at 1 (509) 535-8743 right away. We are located at 6522 E. 1st Avenue in the Spokane Valley.

It was jumpsuit scrub top night at the clinic and one of our assistants just got accepted into vet school!! You are all such amazing caregivers and what a great way to show teamwork ladies! Can't wait to see you shine Quinn--good luck at vet school--you will be dearly missed!

EXPANSION UPDATE: Wow things are moving quickly thanks to FlyWheel Construction. We have walls going up, brand new kennel runs established, concrete being poured for our new enclosed foyer area, all new plumbing and so much more!
