πŸ› οΈ 3D Printed Fish Room Upgrade! 🐟

I needed a way to get more oxygen into the fry tray, so I fired up the printer and made this adapter to hold an airline tube perfectly in place. The added surface agitation maximizes gas exchange to keep the fry healthy and growing fast!

Do you use any 3D printed gear in your fish room? Let me know below! πŸ‘‡

🌿 The breeding never stops in the fish room! 🐟

We already have another brand new batch of eggs from this Red Devil pair! While this new clutch gets started, our previous batch of wigglers is doing so well that they are finally ready for the fry tray.

I carefully use a pipette to transfer them over it is a slow and delicate process, but it is highly efficient and ensures every single fry stays safe during the move. The payoff is so worth it!

Do you use a pipette for your fry transfers or do you have another method? Let's talk about it below! πŸ‘‡

🌿 I thought we lost the whole batch! 🐟

After moving the few surviving wigglers into this fry tray a couple of days ago, things went quiet. I honestly thought we had lost every single one of them.

But when I walked into the fish room today, I spotted TWO tiny fry that actually made it and are officially free-swimming! They are small, but they are mighty.

What is your go-to method for feeding a super small batch of fry like this? Let me know below! πŸ‘‡

🀫 We don't need that kind of negativity! 🐟

Anyone else constantly get this comment from friends and family? Between the main displays and the breeding trays, there is always room for just one more tank! πŸ˜‚

Let's hear it, how many tanks are currently running in your house? Let me know below! πŸ‘‡

All of the fry have officially hatched and dropped off into the tray, so I was able to safely remove the plant leaves today. Look at how many healthy wigglers are covering the bottom of the breeder box! This is the exact redemption we needed after losing the first clutch.

Drop your best tips for feeding newly free-swimming fry below! πŸ‘‡
