To our current boarding clients that have their dog down for a boarding bath:
Please note that it may be done the day before they go home. We are trying our best to keep all boarding dogs away from the grooming dogs. And I will note that if it’s during the week, the baths will most definitely be done the night before, or in the afternoon after the grooming dogs have left. We will try our very best to get them all done!

To our valued grooming clients:
With it being summer, we know that everyone is making plans to go away. If you happen to have a grooming appointment while you are planning to be away, please inform us at least 48 hours in advanced, so we can fill your spot, and reschedule your appointment properly. We are very filled up on spots for the summer, so we may have to put you on our cancellation list.
Again, it is very crucial that you give us enough notice for cancelling or rescheduling your appointment.

Doggie in the Window will be temporarily closed for daycare June 25th until July 2nd due to a cough spreading in our pack. We will be deep cleaning in the meantime. We will miss our furry friends here.

Please report any coughing to us so we can keep track and make sure we are clear. If we need to make any other changes, we will follow up with more information.

We had our first calls on Friday last week. We are already up to 12 confirmed cases. We are sorry to the pups in our pack effected, and we hope they feel better soon.

Einstein, the golden in the video, was one of the first pups we had coughing here. Mom let us take him home, and he seemed to really enjoy the pond. 😅 We got him to his vet, and he is on the proper medication. We hope he feels better!

On a more personal note, I happen to be going on vacation tomorrow until July 2nd. I'll be back just in time to soothe the dogs during the July 4th festivities. I hope you all have a good week. I will miss the dog house and am excited to get back and get our pack back to its former glory. Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be possible without my current employees stepping up so I can get away.

Finally, all caught up on footage up to today. I was happy to see our new German Short Haired Pointer, Chance, playing so well with our Malinois member of the pack, Bear.

Meanwhile, with the sudden spring of coughing pups in our populous, Fergus, Luna, Scout, and Einstein are quarantined in our office. They've been real champs about it.

I'll be putting an official post about this out soon. We are up to 10 confirmed cases of Kennel Cough since Friday. We've had at least 1 coughing dog show up in our populous every day since. A shutdown of our daycare will likely be put into effect tomorrow. Emergency drop-offs will still be welcome unless we start seeing more cases pop up.

Happy summer, everyone! I'm catching up on getting some of this footage out there. Most of these clips are from last Tuesday and Wednesday. We've had an incredibly blessed boarding summer so far. Our daycare and boarding clients have been integrating seamlessly. It always warms my heart to see.

They know who the holder of the treats is 🤣
Each night as Maura and Carter do ‘bed check’, they name them say good night, and give them a small treat. 99% of the time it’s Maura that gives the treats 😊
And Carter cuddles the little ones.
