Happy Easter. 🌷🐣

Absolutely loved this shoot. Had multiple people tag me in a video where a woman hung a bunch of tulips from a bar and took pictures of her dog through the flowers. Now, that dog was a very well trained border collie, not 46 different dogs from all different backgrounds, so we didn’t get as crazy as them but couldn’t love the end results more! I went very simple, clean and grainy with my edits. I hope you love them as much as I do!

The dogs did an incredible job and we just love our Easter bunnies so much. 💗

Why I opened Quarry Dog.

Quarry Dog was established in June 2018 by Rikki Silvester. “I sort of always knew that I wanted to open a dog daycare or at the very least work with animals, probably from the time I was around ten. I had always loved dogs but when you get to a certain age people start asking you what you want to do with your life and this was always it. From about fifteen on I held jobs in the pet field from grooming to retail to daycare but the goal was always to have my own place. My time working for other daycares was invaluable because it really helped me to shape my vision of what I did and didn't want for Quarry Dog. From my experience, a lot of daycares are overcrowded and put the focus on having as many dogs as possible without necessarily worrying about proper social interactions. My vision for Quarry Dog is smaller, better supervised, and tailored to each individual dog so that it’s not just about play and physical exhaustion, which it is, but also helping to guide them through positive, safe and fulfilling social interactions. We have a really great group of dogs here and I am so excited to see them grow and help foster what I like to call “The Quarry Dog Difference”.”
